dotC Customized Drives
dotC has started a spin-off activity from Lite-On in order to design and build customized drives for the high-end professional market,
for example the disk replicator robot manufacturers.
These customers have specific feature demands,
which are delivered by dotC Customized Drives.

The tray position opens to its maximum extent allowing robotic loading of discs. A tray-counter in the drive memory enables life time estimations during operation.

LabelTag

LabelTag allows users to create a circular label on the data side of DVD+/-R discs. Whilst burning the data, users can add text and a small picture, which is then printed directly behind the data at the same time as writing – and at the normal recording speeds. LabelTag provides a quick, easy and cost-effective solution to disc labelling and serialization. The technology works on any DVD+/-R SL disc.

| DisKey |
DisKey allows users to create copy protection and access control to their data when recorded on standard DVD+/-R discs. The user burns encrypted data to the disc. On the disc, a protection application controls the decryption and access when the disc is played on any DVD reader in a computer station. Supported file types: .doc / .ppt / .xls / .jpeg / .avi / .html / .pdf / .txt / and any other type on request.

| Disc Scan |
After the recording process, several recording quality parameters are sampled resulting in a more in-depth quality figure of the disc compared to a basic verify. Based on that quality information, it can be decided to skip the full verify-after-write scan reducing the total throughput time significantly.
